Mark has a BA in Sociology from the University of Detroit, Teacher Certification from Wayne State University in PE, is a certified aikido and yoga instructor, has taught Physical Education and has been a coach/athletic director at DWS for 36 years.

Most importantly, he graduated from the first Spacial Dynamics course taught in the USA. His love for teaching was exponentially developed while engaged in that 5-year program with Jaimen McMillan. This course provided vital tools towards creating a model that holistically guides students in their physical, mental, and spiritual development, while reinforcing Waldorf curriculum principles.
