A movement and dance teacher for over 25 years, Katie is a stellar athlete, and has played a key role in Spacial Dynamics international peace festivals, “Hands in Peace.” She is a senior instructor of the Spacial Dynamics Institute, a Movement Educator at the Austin Waldorf School, and mentors nationally and internationally.
Katie Moran is a life-long student of dance, movement and the fulfillment of human potential. As an athlete, she’s trained and skilled in Acrobatics, Archery, Gymnastics, Yoga, Aerial Silks, Kayaking, Surfing, Dance and more.
An educator with over 25 years of experience, Katie now teaches Movement Arts through Waldorf Education. There she serves students and teachers alike, as she’s done for more than 19 years. Katie is a Level IV Instructor at the Spacial Dynamics Institute, as well as a Level III Youth Olympic Archery Instructor. She’s also a Certified Yoga Instructor, and the standing President of The Association for Bothmer Gymnastics in the Americas.
When she’s not hosting conferences, organizing festivals or working directly with students at home in Austin, TX, Katie travels to coach and mentor other movement education teachers, helping design and build programs that cater to each teacher’s strengths, environment and budget, enabling them to confidently meet the dynamic needs of the students they serve.
