Public Workshop - The Will - Montréal

Rudolf Steiner maintained that there would be dangerous social consequences to applying the theory of the conservation of energy to human beings. He said that it was of the utmost importance to understand that the human being was capable of creating new energy. Could an incomplete understanding of the Will be one of the reasons for the modern epidemic of tiredness, lethargy, even paralysis of the will? What if the reason that we have not been able to locate the Will is that it not to be found, but only to be generated? Perhaps true Will is created out of nothing, and the moment after it has been generated, it is gone. Perhaps this elusive Will cannot be located, because it cannot be stored. It is not fossil fuel...it is future fuel.

In this workshop, we will experiment with ways of moving that will spark not only the imagination, but bring us closer to the very source of the Will itself. By initiating, inhabiting, and enlivening different spaces, you will be able to aid in the development of a healthy Will; starting with one’s own. Will is what is born in the moment of change.

The workshop will take place at École Rudolf Steiner de Montréal. Course hours are Friday 7:30-9:30pm and continues on Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00pm. Course fee is $125 ( $100 for students).

The workshop will be led by Jaimen McMillan
